What our clients say about Carmel

Team Effort by Wendy, Bertie, Carmel and Veronica!!!

“Dad likes Wendy’s style of care very much.  She has slotted into the roster very smoothly and Dad is very happy to have her. The orientation day with Carmel to introduce her to Dad and to his routine, also proved to be a very good process

Veronica is also very good and we are certainly happy to have her any time either as relief or on regular roster. Carmel is outstanding and if Bertie is able to resume when fully fit again, then we have more options and combinations available, which is good.

So thanks again for everything.  We feel Dad is in a good place at the moment with a familiar routine that is working well. He certainly enjoys the care coming now, for the things they do to organise his day and especially his meals.  Beyond that though, he looks forward to the company of someone to talk to each day and he also enjoys the walks they take him on.

Well done and thanks to all at Daughterly Care.”

“From Dad and all our family, our sincere thanks to all at Daughterly Care for the wonderful care you have provided to Dad. Carmel and Bertie are just wonderful and do many things over and above what we expect, to add that special care factor and ensure Dad is well looked after. He has been in a very stable pattern this year since the Caregivers started and that was not the case in the period before care.

We send our best wishes to all at Daughterly Care for a warm and happy Christmas.”

Carmel’s comments

I love knowing that I am making a difference, each day to somebody’s quality of life and happiness.  The flexibility of being able to work the days and times that suit me mean I am always able to work at my best rather than working just because I have to.

The ladies in the office are wonderful and caring, they really care about us, the Caregivers.  Kate has an amazing passion for this industry and sets a very high bench mark.  The on-going training is fantastic and is of such benefit to everyone.  Daughterly Care is just an awesome company.
