Daughterly Care has several pay by the hour Caregiver job and Live in Carer jobs available, however, our standards are very high. Caring for the Elderly requires a special skillset, mindset and heart. Read our eligibility requirements and if you believe you possess the Daughterly Care difference we’d love you to apply for one of our Care worker or Live in Carer jobs.
The average age of our Caregivers is 57 and we value their maturity. If you are a younger person you need to be someone with a genuine caring, understanding nature and the ability to relate well with older people.
If you answer yes to the following criteria you are eligible to apply for work with Daughterly Care.
We do not employ overseas residents who require us to sponsor them. Plus, it is illegal to work for a second employer when you are already sponsored on a 457 Visa.
Our clients want consistency of Caregivers. They enjoy building relationships with our Caregivers, therefore we prefer employees who are here for the long term.
Our clients want to be cared for by Caregivers who speak English clearly so communication is easy and stress free.

I am looking for Live In Care work and live within NSW or South East Queensland.
You must have 3 to 5 independent professional people who can confirm your work experience and character.
We provide a wide variety of services so we need Caregivers who are flexible to fulfil a wide variety of roles.
(2 hour minimum)
|We have over 200 Caregivers and most like to work on weekends due to the penalty rates we offer. We do not employ people who only want to work higher paying hours as we like to spread the love.

||If you only want to work weekends that’s perfect.
I have sufficient paid aged care experience, including caring for people living with forgetfulness, memory loss/dementia, plus showering and toileting.

We are currently recruiting mature people who have cared beautifully for their family, to do domestic assistance and meal preparation work while we train them in personal care and dementia. This is a limited opportunity.
Our clients have chosen us because we are a premium service provider, so they want Caregivers with extensive experience caring for older people in their home or a Nursing Home.
You really can’t be an ‘experienced Caregiver’ and unable to provide assistance in personal care. The best advice we can give you is to work in a Nursing Home for 3-5 years and become really proficient in providing personal care.
OR a Certificate IV in Disabilities
OR I am prepared to undertake a Certificate III within 3 years of my employment with Daughterly Care
(OR you are older with decades of care work experience in which case we understand it is offensive to MAKE you do a Certificate III when you are so experienced…don’t worry, with us, your actual work experience matters far more than a Certificate III…we won’t make you undertake a Certificate III).
- I am willing to undertake domestic assistance and meal preparation services while I undertake my training to be a Caregiver.
- I have unpaid aged care experience.
- My English is excellent.
- I am highly presentable.
- I possess uncommon common sense.
Our clients require our Caregivers or Live in Carers to take them to appointments, shopping and outings, so you must have a car.
