What our clients say about Kathy

7 February 2016 – Appreciation from Daughter of Client, Mrs G who lives in Manly on Sydney’s Northern Beaches

I am writing to inform Daughterly Care, how grateful we are for the wonderful way Kathy recently handled an incident with mum. When Kathy arrived, mum was extremely distressed and she settled her with a nice cup of tea and biscuits, whilst searching for her lost items. We sincerely appreciate Kathy for her level of care and her concern was outstanding!

Kathy’s comments

I’ve also been working as a Disability Support Worker for the past 12 months. This entails obtaining on-going training and certificates in all areas relating to disability.  For example; Epilepsy training, Medication, Challenging behaviour, OH&S, Working in group homes, supporting people in wheelchairs and with intellectual disability and so on.

I enjoy working in both aged care and disability as each area has rewarding moments and unique challenges.

I have met some extraordinary elderly people working at Daughterly Care many who will always hold a special memory in my heart.
